Hi again today..

yesterday's my husband's birthday. We didn't go out and celebrate, as both of us are too tired to go out.
Maybe this weekend we're going to celebrate instead.
But, last night we got a sweet surprise, as our friend, Nadia, the baker, the owner of ChocoLove Cupcakes send us a dozen cupcakes. Yum.
She makes a mean chocolate cheesecake, with the reasonable price.

Hi all..

as I was cleaning out my book shelves, I have to purge out some more books to make room for the new ones.

All these books are in good conditions. And all of them are good reading. It's just that I won't read them twice, so my husband says, out they go. I still have the complete set of the Twilight series that I can't let go of....

Direction.

Hi all..

today I'm sharing a kind of personal experience here.
I was planning to have a certain career path and has been interviewing for 1 month. And apparently it didn't work out. And it hurts. bad. a lot. Because I keep thinking that this job would be perfect for me, and I think God wanted that for me too. And I prayed. And prayed some more. And I was so sure, so sure in my heart as well, that I will get accepted. Like, there's no doubt about it.
But I didn't. I didn't get accepted. I didn't get the call.
And I was soo dissapointed. Feeling so rejected, incompetent, like, how come I can't even do this stupid small thing that people can do. Feeling not good enough.

But before then, this Word of God is been planted in my heart, my mind. I keep having that verses the week of the dissapointment, and I was looking for the exact location of the verse. And I found it, it's in Psalms.

The steps of a good man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way. (and He busies Himself with his every step).  

Psalm 37:23 amplified.

So all I can do is trust. Believe. That He knows more than I do. I will try the job again. I have to wait for 3 months to apply for the same job, and I feel like it's wasting my time.
But God will direct me. Man can do all he can do, but God will direct me.

That's all.

Layout

Hi all..

I just realized since the beginning of this blog, I have never posted a scrapbooking layout at all..

I have them, it's just that I'm more often making mini album instead of making a layout.. :)

So here is one of them, I made like a couple of months back, and this is my wedding photos, and I haven't get the chance to scrapped them properly.... I still have couple of photos sitting on my shelves and it's not scrapped yet..

Only two more days of summer school, then it's holiday until the real school start, 8 august. It means holiday as well for mommy, because I have to wait for Claire at school when school's in session. When I'm at school, I can't do things at home. Which means I can't scrapbooking.

This is the pretty wedding things that the photographers took. 

And this is me and my parents on the closing of the veil... The flowers on the left side of the photos, I made them myself. Someday I will have tutorial on how to make them...

Hi all..

as my close friends know, i'm a dessert, sweet, cake person. I love cake. I love chocolate. Not candy though.
I wish I still live in Vancouver, so that I get to try and travel to USA to find good cupcakes.
I've tried all the cupcakes in Jakarta, none are good at all.

I tried one in Sydney, it's frickin' amazing!!! Too bad I didn't take a pic of the cupcakes, or just remember the name of the company. But it's the most amazing thing, the cream is thick, and the cake is oh-so-moist, and it's perfect to be eaten together with the icing!
To this day, I'm still dreaming about that cupcake. It's in Victorian mall, I think. In downtown Sydney.
If next year we can make it to the Hillsong conference, I so gonna get my husband to get me there.
And buy a dozen of them. gah..

But, through pinterest (yes, you should sign up, it's the most creative thing out there now) I get lots and lots of pictures of beautiful pretty, amazing cakes and cupcakes!

newly bought books

I know I know..

how can I do like 3 posts in a day? It's because while I can, I post. Because who knows when can I post with my new schedules? I need to take my oldest to school everyday and hang out there, and some afternoons I have to work out. Which takes time. No more internet time when there's working out (as in exercise) days.

Today is the day that I went to bookstore to buy a princess book for my eldest daughter, as a reward for her not crying at her new school for 5 days straight. Ergo, it's also an excuse for me to buy books that I've been wanting to read. I took the photos with the leme leme app in iphone 4, look how pretty they are, eh?

These will give me something to do while I'm waiting for Claire at school... yay!!
