Baby first year mini album

Hi all..

Since I have a bit of time today to blog, I thought I want to share my project from last month, a baby mini album. It's yearly mini album, and it's been customized for beautiful little girl name Tiara Maxine.

If you are interested in purchasing this mini album, including all the paraphernalia, or all the doo dads/embelishment, contact me for pricing. You can just sms me (fastest way to get a response). What's in the photos are all included in this baby yearly mini album.

Here's the photos:

I also haven't shared about another mini album that's been commissioned for a best friend. I will post as soon as I have more time to edit the photos and post them...

Right now I'm into instagram photos.. which is so easy and fun, I don't need to edit, and voila! I can just post it on the blog.. he he he..

Well, have a great day, y'all..

Lizzie's birthday

Hi all..

Today since I've got a bit of time left in the middle of before going somewhere else again.. (for me, week end is the busiest time for me), I want to share a layout for Claire's friend's birthday.

It's Lizzie's birthday, and as usual, if there's a kid's birthday, what I do is I made the layout and give it to them, for them to remember it by..

I'm using all the scraps that I have to make this. The banner is from October Afternoon's Sidewalks banner. I stitched the tickets and the hearts, more effort there, but the rest is layers of scraps.. hope you enjoy them.

I'll see you next week!

Happy

Hi all..

This post is going to be real quick.. I just got back from a girl's birthday party, and took photos for her.
It's so much fun! All pink and dolls, and oh so cute. Can't wait to share some of the photos, and also the end product, which will be a scrapbook birthday album!

For now I'm sharing one of my layout.. it's now the picture of me..

The base is using Simple Stories, one of the baby's steps, I use the other side of it. Then the huge dark red flower is also from Simple Stories generations. The rest is using my scraps, and the title, happy, is using american crafts thickers, made for Studio Calico. The half circle is using my October Afternoon's scraps as well.

Have a great weekend, y'all!

Enlarging my soul

Last night I went to leader's meeting in JPCC, and boy, it's like a reminder to me, to my soul.
Ps Jeffrey Rachmat was preaching on the topic of making your soul prosper.
Because if your soul prosper, then your life will prosper as well. If your soul is small, then your life will be small too.
Soul is our thoughts, our feelings, our wills.
So, how do we enlarge our soul? How do we prosper our soul?
By giving. By giving attention to others, by giving your time, your resources to others.
This life is not about receiving (lots of people have no problems receiving), but it's about giving.
Honour comes when someone give something out, not when people receive.
When we share, our world gets larger. We embrace other people, there's not just me, myself and I, but others.
When there's selfishness, there's always conflict.
So it is better to give than to receive. Jesus said, the biggest of you should be the servant of all.
We need discipline to give, to not be selfish, to remember others, and to care for others.
That's my reminder. My life is not about just me, my kids, my husband, my family.
It should also be about other people. To make myself available for other people as well.
It's a wake up call for me.

Anyway... I have couple of layouts and art journal to share, but not yet. I can't leave this blog without some pictures, so here goes, words of wisdom that I got from pinterest. Hope it will encourage you too.

Also on leader's meeting, my husband was doing great delivering the 5 minute preaching. Pheww.. kinda a bit nervous of him doing it, but he's very good! He says all of his points, it's short, to the point, and understandable. I'm very proud of him.

And another note, there's this movie called Langit Biru, is going to be in the cinemas everywhere, your nearest 21, Cineplex and Blitz on 17 November.  It's a pre-teen movie about friendship, how you value your friends and others, and say no to bullying. It's gonna be great! If you have a children who's pre teen or teenagers, please watch it together. Ari Wibowo, Becky Tumewu, Yosi Mokalu, Tika Panggabean is going to be in the movie, along with newer movie star generations.. he he he..

So, have a great week end y'all.. Let's see if I have time to blog tomorrow or even later in the day, I would love to share one of my layouts!

Cheers!

time..

Hi all..

what I feel these days is that there's not enough time for me to do all the things that I want or I should do.
I have lots of ideas of doing scrapbooking, but not enough time to do it.
Then I have to tutor my daughter learning blend in phonics, and I need lots and lots of time to do that.
She's kind of behind in class, and I'm the one who's responsible to catch it up with her together.
Sigh..

But today I wanted to share a layout that I did weeks ago as well, hopefully you enjoy them.

I'm using Sassafras latest collection: Sunshine Broadcast. It's a beautiful collection, and I keep using it over and over again. Love the paper, it's so versatile to use for backgrounds. And some October Afternoon paper (the right side of the paper, the orient)

Do you know that Sassafras is not going to manufacture papers anymore? sigh.. all their collection I have to hold on to them then..it's going to be a collector's item.. :)
Instead, Sassafras is going to be a design company, and they'll design for Studio Calico, and Studio Calico is also the one who's going to manufacture their products.

That's that for today.. and I have to run.. ta ta..

Singapore

Hi all..

I'm baaack.. it's been almost a week since I've blogged, it's because my parents came to town, and then together we went to Singapore.

Because it's been a rushed decision to go to Singapore, accompanying my parents, as well as them spending quality time with my youngest, Ariel, I didn't get to plan which restaurants I should visit.
Next time if I have more time, I will ask my friend Tammy, who's the master of choosing great restaurants to eat.

But one thing that I saw is Quiznos!! So excited! For those of you who doesn't know Quiznos, it's like Subway, but ten times better! ha! It's because they toasted the sandwich/sub and give them more flavour, taste, warmth-ness of it. In Vancouver, Quiznos has been my go to lunch whenever they are near.

I forgot the usual sub that I always order, which is the Traditional Sub, and I order something else, which is honey chicken sub. Taste good too.. and here I'm sharing the pix!

It's like, bliss.. when I eat them. It's my afternoon delight when I scrapbook and watch my Ariel take a nap. This left me very full, and satisfied... If I have lots of money, or a billionaire with money to spare for anything, I would really want to franchise Quiznos, bring them to Jakarta, just to satisfy my craving, even if no one would buy them. Ha ha ha...

And here's the view of Singapore from my hotel. This is my first time using Instagram, (instead of leme leme) and loving it!

Have the rest of a great weekend, y'all!

layout using October Afternoon papers

Hi guys..

This is another layout that I made for a friend, using the new october afternoon papers. Love the papers so much. Base of the layout is using Crate Paper Farmhouse collection: accent cuts. I'm using the backside of it.

I guess that's going to be my last post for a while.. I'm going out of town for 4 days, and when I'm back, I'll share some more of my books and layouts while I'm gone..
Hope you have a great week!

Birthday layout

As promised, this is another birthday layout that I made for Claire's friend, Dendy, who had his birthday party at school.
It was so fun, his mom decorated our classroom full of baloons and planes, and not only the kids have their own lunch, the moms were also given lunch! For me it's a very generous birthday hoopla, and the goody bags are filled with Shawn the Sheep dolls, wood bucket princess and thomas, quality junk food (oreo cookies, van houten chocolate, yogurt, pocky)
I think the quality junk food won me over. ha ha ha..

Here's the layout that I made and gave to them.

The splattered ink is using the new October Afternoon ink and Tattered Angels mist. I really love the effect of the splattered ink. The rest is using all of my scraps paper.. :)
Enjoy..

New Magazines

Hi all..

it seems it's been a long time since I've post anything about books or magazines..
Yesterday I just pick up some magazines for sale.. I know it's not so complete, but I think I'm just going to take orders instead of buying them for no reason.. it's more profitable for me to do so instead of just stocking magazines that I don't know whether anyone is interested or not.

The magazines that I can take orders are usually decorating magazines, women fashion magazines, wedding magazines, Vanity Fair, GQ, Success, Oprah, Martha Stewart Living, Wedding, Creating Keepsakes.  Or you can just ask me whether I carry that particular magazines or not.. :)

Here's the photos..

To view the complete list of the magazines that I currently have, please click this link below:

Fast order/booking just sms me on the number above. Happy shopping!

My Instax

Happy Sunday everyone..

today I find a bit of time, so I thought I'm going to blog for a bit.... he he he..
There's this one thing that I love and I found it so practical: my instax camera.
I have the Fuji mini instax S-25 because I've seen this camera a lot of times on the blogs that I read.
They love it all, and I'm so curious, why??
So I bought one for myself.. and loving it as well.. not only me who's loving it.. my daughters love to be taken picture with it. They want me to take their photos over and over again... I would love to.. but I wish the price of the film is cheaper...

Here's my camera and the album that I bought for extra.... it's a place where I organized my photos taken by instax. If you can see the small papers (post it notes), that's where I wrote the date and occasion of the photos, so when I'm going to scrapbook it in the future, I know exactly the story and the dates. I plan to make a yearly book for my daughters, and instax is one of the tools where I collect their photos once a month, to show what they're doing this month, and how they grow bit by bit each month.

I'm going to Singapore this month for a couple of days, and I'm planning to take my instax camera with me, to make a mini travel journal. When I'm done, I'm going to post it on this blog.

In the meantime, enjoy the rest of the weekend.. I'll see you next week!
