another Christmas layout

Hi all..

if you live in Jakarta.. pheww.. these past couple days (including now) the weather has been crazy!
We have mini thunderstorm, lots of winds, lots of tree fell, and that lead to lots of traffic!
The rain just come and go as it pleased, very heavy rain with lots of wind, and then wait another half an hour, the rain is gone again.. pheww.. I'm not sure whether I like rainy season or summer season better..

Here's another gazilion of layout that I made during the holiday, they all are commissioned. So again, if you want to give something to someone dear who has everything, here's your solution! Just come to me with a photo, and I'll make these layouts with the frame included, for a fee.

This is a Christmas layout that all the parents are giving to the teachers at school. I'll admit this particular layout is not my usual minimalist style.. because the base paper itself doesn't call for it. So I challenged myself to use more papers and decorations.. See if you like it.. but I sure hope the teacher really likes it! ha ha ha..

It's time to get back to school for my daughter, and I have to wake up early in the morning after these 3 weeks holiday.. it's like i just want to sleep some more.. the rain makes it cozier to just stay in bed.. :P

first year baby boy mini album

Happy Saturday everyone!

Today I'm posting a mini album that I made, for a special baby boy. It's basically a year mini album for Nicholas. It's a stitched mini album, if you see the sewing part of the papers. Basically I'm sewing the album, paper by paper, and the top part of it, it's open, so we can stuff papers, more photos in between the papers. Next time I will take the photos of the machine stitched album, so you can see them more clearly.

Warning: it's a photo heavy, as it's 12 pages for each month.

one october afternoon layout

Hi again..

I think I'm going to blog 3 times today, just because I have the project all lined up and ready to go.
Been wanting to play with October Afternoon: Sidewalks series paper, because they are so fun and so playful! I especially love the flower paper.. I can just cut them and use them everywhere on my future layout!

Here's the layout that I made for my friend's birthday (also Claire's teacher). I made them a while back in November I think.. i know i know.. now it's new year!

Love using the mist spray ink from Tattered Angels. The effect is subtly shiny, which I love. Try them, splash them on your page. See if you like them..

I use papers from the Cosmo Cricket Christmas and Crate Papers Christmas, which I have in store as well.. just in case that you're already caught up with your Christmas photos and want to scrapbook them.. :)

New Year 2012

Hi all!

Happy new year! Meant to post some projects, but got too lazy, because of the holiday and all.
Plus, I'm in the middle of reading this book: The Hunger Games for 3 days straight.. and now I'm done.
What an exciting book, I can't put it down.. so whenever I have free time, I just read and read..
Since the book is not available in Indonesia, I just bought it via kobo in ipad.
I can say that reading in ipad is kind of weird.. I'm a paper person, and I have to wait for my ipad to be recharged everytime the batery goes to 0%, to be able to continue reading.

Since this is new year, my husband is so eager to have my bookshelves to be cleaned up, to be tidy and all. That means, I have to purge more fictions that I have. So here are the latest fiction that goes on sale:

It is hard to part with these books for me, because I still read them over and over. Like Stephanie Meyers Twilight series book, for movie goers, I can understand that it's a weird concept. But if you just read the book, it's all about love stories, and it's beautifully written. I still think that Breaking Dawn movie was awesome, despite some bad reviews, because it almost stay true to the books and to the feelings of it.
But, like my husband says, space is expensive. I have to make room for more new books that I'll buy. *wink wink*
