Weekend's food

Happy monday everyone!!

Last weekend I have the fortune to eat at two of new restaurants that I haven't been at.

The first one is Mad for Garlic, in Grand Indonesia.. I went there on Friday, to do the midnight shopping with my mother in law.
First impression is the service, it's always the service for me. It's not as great at Kitchenette or any of Ismaya's group service. So I thought.. hm.. how good can the food be? Because the pricing is pretty expensive, above Kitchenette's (which my husband loves).

We order the clams with tomato sauce (sadly forgot to take the pix, it's gone in like, minutes!), then the meat lover's pizza, with spinach salad. Food is surprisingly good. I think we will visit this restaurant again in the future to try the steak :)

On Saturday, I went with the girls after seminar at church to eat korean food in jakarta selatan's area: GoJumong. It's worth the traffic. We order wayyy too much for us to eat, but it's a very good lunch. All very full and the food is really good.

Girly mini album

Hi all....

been absent for a while of blogging because I'm busy doing mini album projects for my parents and also have something on the works as well..
I have wayy to many ideas and little time to execute them.. isn't that our problem is? Not enough time?

Today I'm posting mini album that I made couple of weeks ago. Here's the pre made mini album:

As you can see, if I pre made the album before, all I need to do is focus on the decoration only. Which is the fun part for me. I only posted some of the pages, not all. Me and my husband also wrote things everywhere, which is also fun. Most people are scared of writing on pretty piece of paper, but the point of doing scrapbook is also to remember the memories, and tell children our stories.

The photos are from fuji mini instax S-25, which I love love love.. that's supposed to be another subject for another blog, but anywayy.... I have this fuji mini instax because a lot of scrapbooking blogger out there rave about them, and what do you know? i love them too!! It's very cute, it comes with different kinds of film, disney princesses, toy story, hello kitty, blank, minnie and mickey, rainbow colored, it's all fun!
Even Claire, my oldest daughter, loooooveee to be taken picture with fuji. It's instantly show her picture, and she's very excited about which princess/hello kitty/minnie comes out next. ha ha...

Here's another mini album that I made together.... and it's for sale. If anyone out there wants to buy this baby up, it's Rp. 200,000 (not including ongkos kirim) and just sms me for faster response.

Here's another book that I read:

I'm a fan of Ms. Binchy. She usually wrote about people in Ireland, and I've been buying all her books and collect them. It's a leisurely read.
This time it's about a guy who's going nowhere on his life, and suddenly he's given one chance to do something with his life, with the help of his cousin and the town's people. It's a lovely book.

Since this is also weekend, I also want to post about the beautiful desserts they have over at pinterest:

What we ate last weekend

Good afternooon y'all..

today i want to post about food, since I haven't posted anything about food at all.. which I love.

Last week end we went out to Social House, it's not that much happening place anymore, but I still love their food. I really want to try Luna Negra and Ocha&Bella, which is sooo happening right now..

My husband went to Bebek Bengil yesterday for lunch, and he likes it a lot. He said it's Balinese food, and it's really good, price is reasonable. So maybe next time I'll try to remember to take pix of food that I ate..

Veal rolled with bacon. It's so rich and creamy.

 Caesar salad with a twist. All the bacon bits and cheese is put unto the leaf, you eat the leaf one by one. It's very nice and yummy.

Meat lover's pizza. Goodness..

Pre made scrapbooking album for boys

Hey all..

Been tired over this whole week end.. on sunday especially..
We have church, and then meeting with people, and then our nephew's birthday party.
It's like from 7 am to 8 pm non stopness..
It was fun, but it's a lot of tiredness as well..
So yesterday I want to take it easy, (national holiday in Indonesia) but instead I have to go find a birthday gift for my husband's boss.
After, I made birthday card for her, I already take the picture for it, download lots of photos to my computer this morning.. and voila!! gone!!! gargghhh...

So I have to retake lots of pictures that's already in my camera again.. except for the birthday card, because my husband took it to work already.. hiks.. So I have to post about something else.

Because I didn't get to post a whole lot this week, I suppose I play catch up with the blog today.
Kids are asleep, and i'm browsing my pinterest and blogging for couple of hours.
Aaaaaaaaaa!! I'm in pinterest!! Finally!! ha ha ha...
Do you know how hard it is to have an account in pinterest?? Because I have no friends who's in pinterest yet (indonesians are yet to catch up with pinterest) so i have to request to get into pinterest.
Took them 2 weeks to invite me... but i'm finally in!!
It's like totally waste your time with beautiful and creative things.. I'm supposed to make scrapbook album now, but can't resist the creative and beautiful things that's posted over there.. totally addicting! gaahhh..

So now I want to tell you about websites that I love.. or things that I love over the internet..
Someone wrote that now the bigger time waster is not tv, but internet.. I found that so true in my life.
I have no tv, but i have interent.. hee hee hee...

Susan Branch is the illustrator that i love love love since I was in Vancouver. I love her books, her journals and her scrapbook papers.

Another illustrator that I love is Dena Design. If you love greeting cards like I do, you'll know her work. And like always, when I was a student, I have to have all her greeting cards.. it's like a collection for me. It's gorgeous. And i'm like a greeting card collector/hogger, because I keep buying the card, but never send them out. It's all for me. They are my eye candy.

Another blog is my friend, Amelia. I think she's so very brave. She left her job in Vancouver to do a mission in Ukraine for 3 months. And her blog keeps me inspired and blessed me so much, about her relationship with Jesus. I'm not even sure whether it's open for all to see or not.. I think it's by invitation only, but boy... I love her blog. It's not like art blog or stuff.. more of reflections of her faith. Which I totally love.

And if you're in facebook, search for SUGAR PENGUIN CAKES. The owner is a friend of mine, who's so creative with her cupcakes and cakes. I luuuurrrvvv.... pretty pictures of cakes and cupcakes.
She's one talented lady. Her chocolate cakes are to die for.. so rich and chocolatey.. no words can say..

scrapbook journal

wanting to post yesterday, but the blogger is under maintanance.. so here goes today..

I made couple of journals, but this time the photos turn out pretty good, so, i'm re posting it again.

And this is the backside... those white papers show what's inside the journal. It's not a blank journal, but it's lined and has prompting on it.. the papers are thick, and has multiple colors, pink, blue, yellow and green, 4 each of them. Inside has 20 papers, total of 40 pages.

Comic Bible

Good afternoon y'all..

I'm posting about the awesome comic bibles that's available here in my store, akikostore.com
Although it's not posted there yet, but it's available for sale already.
It's one awesome bible, the illustrator is from Japan, and the stories are exactly from the bible, and it contains the verses of the bible at the bottom of each page.
I bought a set, I have so much fun reading it, it's like comic books, but better because then I'm actually reading a bible in a relaxed word setting and it's accurate.
